Delete Your Account & Data
Phrased · Account and data deletion
You can delete your Phrased account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Option 1: Delete from within the app
- Open the Phrased app
- Go to Settings (bottom tab bar)
- Scroll down and tap Sign Out
- Contact us at privacy@phrased.app to confirm permanent deletion
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, send an email to privacy@phrased.app from the email address associated with your account. Include "Delete my account" in the subject line. We will process your request within 5 business days.
What gets deleted
- Your account credentials (email, name, authentication tokens)
- Your texting personality profile and onboarding responses
- Your tone preferences and settings
- Your reply usage count and subscription records
Screenshots and conversations are never stored. Phrased does not retain screenshots, message content, or AI-generated reply suggestions after each session. There is no conversation history to delete.
What is not affected
- Google Play subscription — Deleting your Phrased account does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel separately via Google Play → Subscriptions to stop future charges.
- Third-party accounts — If you signed in with Google, Facebook, or Apple, deleting your Phrased account does not affect those accounts.
This action is permanent. Once your account is deleted, all data is irreversibly removed from our systems. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use Phrased again.
Data retention period
Upon receiving a deletion request, all personal data is permanently removed from our database within 5 business days. No data is retained after deletion for any purpose.
